The Great Khan sofa has a raw finish, which suggests kit skins and carpets in the camps of nomadic peoples who live “under the crescent moon.” A large mantle of the skin consists of two skins of considerable thickness (4 mm) cut to live in tutt’ampiezza sewn in the middle and attached by means of two aluminum giant frogs.
